New Baseball Pitching Machine

Baseball Pitching Machine

The 2008 baseball Spring training season has officially started. Not only here in Arizona, but in Florida too. Who is the new superstar of the St. Louis Cardinals you wonder, well according to team manager Tony La Russa that would be Hack Attack.

Hack Attack is the new baseball pitching machine that Tony La Russa noticed while on a trip to Arizona (it's the one used by Arizona State.) This new pitching machine has a three wheel design and can throw the following: fastballs, right and left handed breaking pitches and curve balls, sliders and splitfingers. Tony La Russa noticed the machine's consistency and has reconfigured Spring Training around the capabilities of the new machine.

According to the company website(www.sportsattack.com) the Hack Attack can throw balls at speeds over one hundred miles per hour at a distance of sixty feet. Dial in pitch selection increases practice time by simplifying the way to change pitches. The machine is completely portable and the wheels are extremely durable. Retail price for this machine is just under $2700.
